Sura al-Baqarah

153. O believers! Always seek help (from Me) through patience and Prayer. Certainly, Allah is (always) with those who observe patience.
154. And do not say about those who are slain in the cause of Allah that they are dead. (They are not dead.) They are rather alive but you have no perception (of their life).
155. And We will most certainly test you somewhat by means of fear and hunger and certain loss of wealth and lives and fruits. And, (O Beloved,) give glad tidings to those who observe patience.
156. (They are the ones) who, when afflicted with some distress, say: ?Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.?
157. It is they upon whom are bestowed successive blessings and mercy from their Lord. And it is they who are the guided ones

{اللہ تعالیٰ آپ پر رحم فرمائے ، مجھے اللہ تعالیٰ سے امید تھی کہ وہ آپ کو آپ کے دونوں ساتھیوں کے ساتھ ہی جمع کر دے گا، کیونکہ میں اکثر و بیشتر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ الفاظ سنا کرتا تھا کہ ۔۔۔۔ "میں ، ابوبکر اور عمر تھے، میں ابوبکر اور عمر نے یوں کیا، میں ابوبکر اور عمر گئے" ۔۔۔ تو اسی لیے مجھے (پہلے سے) امید تھی کہ آپ کو اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کے ساتھیوں کے ساتھ ہی اکٹھا کر دے گا۔}

One can't have the true feeling of Islam

One can't have the true feeling of Islam unless he abandons lie intentionally or in terms of joke.

[Bukhari :: Book 9 :: Volume 88 :: Hadith 247]

Feeling pride on virtue

Feeling pride on virtue wastes the reward of righteousness.

:: G o l d e n - W o r d s ::

If things are happening according to your wish, you are lucky! But if they are not, then you are very lucky Because they are happening according to ALLAH's wish!

The Uncountable...

The Uncountable...
In a science class, the teacher asked her students to give examples of things which are countless.
One student answered, "Water".
Another answered, "sand".
And another one answered, "Air".
... The teacher noticed that everybody is participating except one,so she called that particular student and asked the very same question.
The student stood up, and to everybody's surprise, he answered...."BLESSINGS."

And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Qur'an#16:18)

The one who has learnt to bow

The one who has learnt to bow for his lord(ALLAH) is the real educated, because humbleness is the identity of knowledge and arrogance is the identity of ignorant.

Wearing hijab without imaan (faith)

Wearing hijab without imaan (faith) is like eating food without taste; it fills you, but it never fulfills you.

" Hijaab with 5 layers of makeup, is NOT hijaab. Hijaab with tight clothes on is NOT hijaab. Hijaab with hair on the side is NOT hijaab. Hijaab with a bad attitude is NOT hijaab. For beautiful eyes, look at fitna-free stuff. For a beautiful face, stay natural. For a beautiful attitude, stay away from bad deeds. For a beautiful look, wear the uniform that Allah gave you. For beautiful lips, speak the words of Allah. Ohh sisters, THAT is hijaab!

101 INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ISLAM

Interesting Facts About Islam;
1.Islam" means "peace through the submission to God".

2."Muslim" means "anyone or anything that submits itself to the will
of God".

3.Islam is a complete way of life that governs all facets of life:
moral, spiritual, social, political, economical, intellectual, etc.

4.Allah is not the God of Muslims only. He is the God of all people
and all creation. Just because people refer to God using different
terms does not mean that they are different gods. Spanish people refer to
God as "Dios" and French people refer to God as "Dieu", yet they are all
the same God. Interestingly, most Arab Jews and Arab Christians refer
to God as "Allah". And the word Allah in Arabic appears on the walls of
many Arab churches.

5.he Islamic concept of God is that He is loving, merciful, and
compassionate. But Islam also teaches that He is just and swift in
punishment. Nevertheless, Allah once said to Prophet Muhammad, "My mercy
prevails over my wrath." Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope,
protecting one from both complacency and despair.

6.Muslims do not believe in the concept of "vicarious atonement"
but rather believe in the law of personal responsibility. Islam teaches
that each person is responsible for his or her own actions. On the Day
of Judgment Muslims believe that every person will be resurrected and
will have to answer to God for their every word, thought, and deed.
Consequently, a practicing Muslim is always striving to be righteous

7.The word "jihad" does not mean "holy war". Instead, it means the
inner struggle that one endures in trying to submit their will to the
will of God. Some Muslims may say they are going for "jihad" when
fighting in a war to defend themselves or their fellow Muslims, but they only
say this because they are conceding that it will be a tremendous
struggle. But there are many other forms of jihad, which are more relevant to
the everyday life of a Muslim such as the struggles against laziness,
arrogance, stinginess, or the struggle against a tyrant ruler or against
the temptation of Satan, or against one's own ego, etc.

94.Islam is not "spread by the sword". It is spread by the word
(Islamic teachings) and the example of its followers. Islam teaches that
there is no compulsion in religion (the Holy Qur'an 2:256 and 10:99).

95.Abdullah Ibn Zubair (RA) was the first baby boy to be born after Hijrah. His Father was Zubair (RA) and his mother was Asma (RA). His aunt (mother's sister) was none other than Ummul Mu'mineen Aaiysha (RA) and his grand father was Abu Bakr Siddique (RA)

96.Muslim women wear the head covering (hijab) in fulfillment of
God's decree to dress modestly. From a practical standpoint, it serves to
identify one as attempting to follow God in daily life and, therefore,
protects women from unwanted advances from men. Righteous women
throughout history have worn this type of modest dress. Prominent examples are
traditional Catholic Nuns, Mother Teresa and the Virgin Mary, mother of
Jesus.

97.Interestingly, the inside of the Kaaba is empty.

98.Hindus believe that inside the Kabba, ther is 1 of their Gods:asta ig:called shiva lingam ( lol lol lol) and if you look up what lingam means ,you will be shocked!!!!

99.English translations of the Quran head the American best-seller list...

100. The word "jihad" does not mean "holy war".

101.Islam is not a "race", it is a religion.

RATE OF SADQA AL FITR

The amount of Zakaah is the same for everyone regardless of their different income brackets. The minimum amount is one Saa` (two handfuls ) of food, grain or dried fruit for each member of the family. This calculation is based on Ibn `Umar's report that the Prophet(sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) made Zakaah al-Fitr compulsory and payable by a Saa` of dried dates or a Saa` of barley.

The Sahaabee, Abu Sa`eed al-Khudree said, "In the Prophet's time, we used to give it (Zakaah al-Fitr) as a Saa` of food, dried dates, barley, raisins or dried cheese". [collected by al-Bukhaaree - Arabic/English vol. 2, p. 340, no. 582]

PURPOSE OF SADQA AL-FITR

The main purpose of Zakaah al-Fitr is to provide those who fasted with the means of making up for their errors during the month of fasting. Zakaah al-Fitr also provides the poor with a means with which they can celebrate the festival of breaking the fast (`Eed al-Fitr) along with the rest of the Muslims.

Ibn Abbaas reported, "The Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) made Zakaah al-Fitr compulsory so that those who fasted may be purified of their idle deeds and shameful talk (committed during Ramadaan) and so that the poor may be fed. Whoever gives it before Salaah will have it accepted as Zakaah, while he who gives it after the Salaah has given Sadaqah." [collected by Abu Dawood - Eng. transl. vol. 2, p. 421, no. 1605 - rated Saheeh by Shaikh Naser Al-Albanee]

Hence, the goal of Sadaqah al-Fitr is the spiritual development of the Believers. By making them give up some of their wealth, the believers are taught the higher moral characteristics of generosity, compassion (sympathy for the unfortunate), gratitude to God and the righteousness. But, since Islaam does not neglect man's material need, part of the goal of Zakaah al-Fitr is the economic well-being of the poorer members of society.

Obligation of Fasting

The rule for Fasting is similar to Namaz and is Farz-e-Ain and those who reject to believe it as obligatory (Farz) is a Kafir and those who miss it without genuine reason is a big sinner and will receive punishment in hell. Those children who have the strength should be made to keep a fast and strong boys and girls should be forced to keep a fast (a few slaps not with a stick) [Durr-e-Mukhtar]. Fasting for the whole month of Ramadan is obligatory.
